A focused 30 days, built around you

30-day residential care programme

Our 30-day residential care programme is tailored to the individual, recognising that a person-centred approach is integral to long-term sobriety. Your stay includes daily group therapy, scheduled one-to-one therapy with an AOD counsellor and an assigned keyworker, and three off-site 12-Step meetings each week.

How admission works

Nourishment and wellness

Recovery is about more than healing the mind. It is about restoring the body and spirit as well. At Keystone Lodge, we believe that nourishing food and regular movement are essential foundations for overall wellbeing.

Person-centred approach

Our person-centred approach places you at the heart of everything we do, so that care, support and treatment are tailored to your specific needs, goals and circumstances. We take the time to understand your story, strengths and aspirations, creating an environment where you feel heard, respected and empowered.

Our approach

Aftercare programme

Recovery does not end when you leave Keystone Lodge. Our aftercare support is designed to help you maintain momentum, navigate challenges and keep building on the foundations established during your stay, with ongoing connection, encouragement and guidance as you transition back into everyday life.

FAQs

30-day programme questions

Common questions about what to expect from a 30-day residential rehab programme and what happens next.

Ask us a question
How long should you stay in residential rehab?

There is no single treatment length that is right for everyone. The appropriate length of residential treatment depends on the person’s circumstances, substance use, recovery needs and progress.

Keystone’s core residential programme is 30 days, providing time to establish stability, engage meaningfully in recovery work and begin developing healthier routines and strategies for life beyond treatment. Because we are client led, we understand there may be a need for shorter or longer stays.

Is 30 days enough for rehab?

For many people, 30 days provides a structured starting point for recovery: enough time to establish stability, engage meaningfully in therapeutic and recovery work and begin developing healthier routines and strategies for life beyond treatment.

Recovery continues well beyond the residential stay, which is why Keystone’s 30-day programme is followed by a structured 12-month aftercare programme.

Who is a 30-day programme for?

The 30-day programme suits people who need focused, short-term residential support. It may be right for you if you need to step away from everyday triggers, have tried to stop before without lasting change, would benefit from structure and routine, want personalised private treatment, or want a clear aftercare plan for life after rehab.

What happens during the 30 days?

The 30-day programme combines daily routine, structured support and recovery work. Your stay includes daily group therapy sessions, one-to-one scheduled therapy with an AOD Counsellor and an assigned Keyworker, and three offsite 12-step meetings each week, alongside physical training, Pilates, breathwork and mindfulness, nourishing meals prepared by our chef and time in nature.

Can I stay longer than 30 days?

Yes. Additional support may be discussed based on individual needs and recovery progress. Keystone is client led, and we recognise that some people benefit from a longer stay while others may need a shorter one. Speak with our team about what might be appropriate for you.

What happens after the programme ends?

Ongoing support such as aftercare helps maintain recovery. Aftercare planning begins during your stay, and once you leave Keystone our Registered AOD Therapists provide daily contact for the first seven days, a dedicated follow-up session within the first three weeks and ongoing check-ins throughout your first 12 months.
